So, just what IS a "girlie girl"? She plans her outfit for the party ...before the invitation comes! She doesn’t wear "sensible shoes." She wishes that women still wore gloves. Her evening purse holds a mint, a lipstick and cab fare (just in case!) She is a vision, an energy, and enjoys every minute of being a girl! Girlie girls don't feel the pressure of time (just ask their fellas who wait patiently in the living room while she chooses the "perfect purse" to accent her outfit for their date).

Each La dee Da purse is a Vintage Find in excellent condition. The added embellishments are also vintage - taken from hats, jewelry and clothing. I’ve found every piece in various antique stores from South Carolina to Texas (and I’ve enjoyed every minute of the search).

The interiors of some purses may have a small stain (from lipstick or perfume spills), but I will note this when applicable on the website. Remember, these purses have lived a life before - just imagine the places they have been!

These days, a designer bag becomes "exclusive" solely based upon the price tag. My bags are "exclusive" because I create each one from vintage finds from my travels - and I cannot mass produce - or even REproduce a bag because of this; each one is truly unique. As a matter of fact, I may keep an item in the inventory for years before the perfect combination of accents will come together for the right look. In other words, I take my time to make sure I'm putting together the right thing before selling the purse (remember, girlie girls do not feel the pressure of time!)

Each purse has also been given a unique name. I hope you enjoy the name your purse has been given! You will find it on a ribbon attached to the interior.

If I had a dollar for each time I squealed, "I’m keeping this one for myself!" ...I’d buy another pair of shoes! :-)
